PRECISION TURNED COMPONENTS
At HPC Services we manufacture thousands of high precision components in almost any material for our clients every year. Using the latest CNC Fixed and Sliding Head lathes we can produce turned parts from 1mm to 250mm diameter, up to 500mm long. With extensive milling capability coming from our sister company Hemlock Engineering Ltd we offer a complete engineering service with industry standard quality controls and efficient production processes to ensure cost effective engineering excellence.
Sliding Head CNC Turning
Our Citizen sliding head lathe facility produces over 5000 different components up to 32mm diameter and offers 'lights out' operation to reduce volume component costs for our clients. Our experienced team of engineers deliver complex, high quality precision turned parts worldwide at the lowest possible price.
Fixed Head CNC Turning
Our fixed head CNC turning facility of Nakamura and Doosan CNC lathes provides capability for the production of components between 16mm and 250mm in diameter. Using powered face and side milling tools with angled milling and drilling we can produce complex high precision components in a single cost-effective operation. Our latest purchase of a Nakamura WT-150 twin-spindle, twin-turret machine with
y-axis and bar feed has created extra high-speed multi-tasking capacity to our fixed head facility.
Our sister company Hemlock Engineering Ltd offers a complete milling service for any type of component and can project manage the entire supply chain from CAD/CAM and machining to anodising or plating. Hemlock and HPC offer stockholding for call off or Kanban to provide a cost-effective, efficient production solution for our clients who require instant stock replacement. The latest multi-axis and 5-axis milling and production machinery is further enhanced by robotic arm loading as part of our efficient production processes.
As part of our commitment to providing a flexible, responsive service to our clients, we offer stockholding agreements as standard, for instant call-off or Kanban resulting in reduced component prices and shorter lead times through larger production runs. Stockholding agreements mean we can plan for clients future component requirements and manage our manufacturing capacity efficiently ensuring parts are available for instant call-off at the lowest possible price.

Process, Production Control and Efficiency
From initial enquiry to final despatch all components are tracked, processed and documented using our 'Route Manager' production control system. This software, designed and programmed in-house, enables efficient production planning, at-a-glance traceability and results in consistently high quality turned parts, lower production costs and shorter lead times.
Quality is fundamental to our company ethos. We supply components into many safety critical industries including train braking systems and fire suppression. Engineering expertise using the latest CNC technology and our in-house production management software means quality is at the forefront of every stage of the production process. Our inspection equipment is the most up-to-date available to guarantee quality and accuracy and we are fully accredited to ISO 9001:2015 through NQA, a UCAS accredited body.
